softly lit

I am a softly lit fountain
of vociferous, tumbling water
smoothing newly cut stone.

I am a discarded teen girl
stumbling drunk and laughing,
pilfered dish soap in my pants.

I am never ending bubbles
spilling smiles in a suburb,
soaking meticulous lawns.

I am a sunshine six year old
discovering tangible love –
scoopable, cartwheeled joy.

Hi, I have a diploma in Journalism, I've published a novel, and I am currently studying psychology. My odd way of viewing the world either gets me kicked out of parties or invited to them. Jenn McKay
